AMBASSADORS Player's Edition is a LIMITED Edition classic looking deck with Lotrek's take on the standard courts and an intricate back design. A deck for the demanding player and collector who wants to combine perfect usability and handling with a classy and elegant touch, Player's Edition is the follow up to the previously released luxurious Collector's Edition. The Limited Red Edition will have a rich red color for the back along with black and a shiny gold metallic ink. Also metallic inks will be used for the faces. For the tuck case a classy white stock will be used, allowing a very clear foiling and deep embossing. The Limited Edition green decks will have a dominant metallic blueish Green ink for the back and metallic inks for the face cards. Both decks will be numbered with a seal glued on the bottom of the deck so as the tuck case won't be damaged if opened. Maximum 1500 decks will be printed from each color and will never be printed again. Courts are based on the traditional standard ones. However, everything has been redesigned from scratch in an effort to achieve high detail and elegance, while keeping them simple and immediately recognizable. A discrete pattern in gold metallic ink will be the background throughout the whole deck (courts, Aces and figures) adding visual interest without being "loud". Generally we've tried to find a balance between complete customization, intricate elements and a light and pleasant appearance. This was particularly painful. More than 10 variations were designed that each time seemed to be "final" but they didn't really work until I came up with the back that made me say: "That's it"!
