The box is rich in traditional Chinese architectural and decorative elements. A golden dragon is crawling over a ding, a type of ancient Chinese cauldrons in the shape of a round vessel standing on three legs, representing the three states fighting over dominance. It is printed using gold foil and crimson ink.
The standard decks will be numbered from 1 to 2,500 with seals on the bottom.
The deluxe decks are numbered from 1 to 1000 with numbers printed on the seals. The deluxe edition is gilded with a prismatic purple gild, further amplifying the luxurious look.
Stamped and embossed, the box uses black holographic foil in addition to purple and gold foils to achieve a more unique, luxurious look and to better convey the intricate details of the design.
